Hi there,
If i allow meeting participants to join a meeting through a browser and not download the app, are there many limitations? Can users still use reactions, annotation tools, etc?

Hi Shanna! If the participants are using the latest updates (Chromebooks) they have added the ability to use almost all the features. The self-selection of breakout rooms is still not available. I usually struggle when the users are in charge of the updates themselves, so I like to include a link to the Download Center in my setup notes. Thank you Donna! This helps greatly! Some people on my team are asking why we just don't force users to download the app, but I prefer them to have the option and, seeing the relatively small limitations, I will take this info to my team.

I haven't used the web app in a few months, but I recall the interface looking different to the app and there being a few other limitations. For instance I couldn't pin a person for their video or something similar and things like the chat window I don't have much choice about where it is, but that's the price of doing so inside a web browser.Â
Again, it's been a couple of months since I had anyone with a Chromebook attending my sessions, but when they did there were limitations on them using the whiteboard, so something to look into and test.Â
