Case study: rethinking hybrid conferences

What do you think about hybrid events? Avoid them at all costs, or they are the way of the future?

Laura Overton and I had to decide our stance last year when we were asked to desgin and host a hybrid conference together. Some of the hybrid events we had attended were just live streams of all the action happening elsewhere, and we wanted to make sure that we had a really connected event.

We've written a case study on how we designed the hybrid conference from scratch, unifying the audiences and getting amazing feedback.
