This is an interesting article from the team at GoToMeeting about recording meetings. They suggest using recordings instead of meetings to provide a more flexible way of sharing updates and information but without the time constraints of a typical meeting. https://blog-gotomeeting-com.cdn.ampproject.org/c/s/blog.gotomeeting.com/4-meetings-can-stop-scheduling-start-recording/amp/
What do you think?
Do you find a lot of your time is taken up with meetings that could be replaced with a recorded update?
What do you think of a short recording as a way to update clients?
or perhaps you're already doing this, have you had any feedback about your recordings?

Interesting article! At my previous role in an accountancy firm time was literally money, time was also literally wasted in many meetings....
I did think about recording the audio for meetings, mainly for reference after the case but also there was an idea to potentially edit and segment information that could then be sent to relevant people who were not in the meeting or action points for those that were.
The idea of recording an online meeting and potentially having time stamps I think is a good one. Anything that reduces a 3 hour meeting with with only 30 minutes of relevant informtion into something shorter is worth it! Â
