The eLearning Guild run a Twitter chat and last Friday it was about the virtual classroom! I enjoyed getting stuck in and the eLearning Guild pulled together the tweets into one post to read:

https://wakelet.com/wake/80544d86-a8f2-42ea-bff5-7071f709df2c

There were lots of elements to pick out from this conversation. A few are:

  • A lot of sessions are just basic uses of the tools
  • Chat function is awesome
  • Some people think that virtual classrooms can't be used for everything you teach... others do!
  • So much more!

What are your thoughts on these bullet points, or any of the tweets in the post?

  • yes, i agree with the basic tools bit. I see lots of virtual sessions where people just use the chat all the time. Like there are other tools! Also there are different ways of using the chat to make it different. I learn from you jo about chat, send and hold. i like that instead of using polls sometimes.
