Forbes Insights: Video-First Culture

Zoom and Forbes have released some research about the importance of video in remote communications.

The report highlighted that 66% say that virtual teaming will be par for the course most days in their work. 

It also highlights that:

  • 95% say video communications will have a positive impact on performance

  • 95% believe video creates a greater sense of trust

  • 93% agree that video enhances the engagement and effectiveness of remote workers

    Thank you for sharing this research. I do find that these key points are true in the virtual sessions that I run for my clients.

    However I do find, as a facilitator, that having my camera on for all or most of the session can be distracting for my own delivery. If the participants find it useful and positive I'm happy to adapt though.
