audio breakouts in Connect

Hi all,

Another Adobe Connect question... i ran some breakouts yesterday and the audio didn't work in the breakout rooms! Panic! I got around it by bringing people together, but obviously this is an issue.

We are using telephone and microphones on the computer. What could be the problem as it worked ok in the main room?

    I usually have a producer doing this for me but I think the answer is that you have to connect the phone they are dialling in via, to their internet link using *65* and then four digits which are unique to them and then #.  Did you try that?  Liz

      Thank you!! Yes, the phone lines were connected (i learned that the hard way too). I do find that participants usually dont link their number and name together themselves.

    Liz makes a great point about joining the audio to the people in the attendees pod.

    It might be that what ever your voice conference provider account type is doesn't allow for sub-conferences then this will impact it too. You might need to speak to your Connect/audio profile administrator to get the right kind of account for you and linked into Connect.
