Hi everyone,

In last week's Adobe Connect Office Hour, we discussed various ideas for lobby layouts. Using the new InFrame Pod for Adobe Connect, you can now add interactivity to either waiting times before a session starts or to breaks.

I offered to write a blog post in English with a list of links that you can use with that custom pod. You can find it at https://blog.1step.to/2022/05/design-interactive-lobby-and-break-times/.  The link list is set up as an H5P element so that you can either download and integrate or embed it into your website or intranet.

So far, this blog post only talks about non-synchronized links. The participants won't see what others do on the sites linked. However, there are quite a number of links and tools, that can be used to collaborate within Adobe Connect using the InFrame Pod. There will be other posts following up on this topic.

Please let me know what you think about it and how you make use of that custom pod in Adobe Connect.

Best regards,

Susanne

  • Thanks so much for sharing! :D

  • Hi everyone,

I've been busy updating the list in the posting at https://blog.1step.to/2022/05/design-interactive-lobby-and-break-ti... with new links. So, if you have some time to spare and want to check out new sites for interesting lobby and break activities, you're more than welcome.

Apart from updating link lists, I have published a second posting on how to use the Adobe Connect InFrame Pod. At https://blog.1step.to/2022/06/using-external-polls-within-online-ro... you'll find instructions and a few examples on how to use external polls within Adobe Connect without sending your attendees "out of the room" to external links.

If you're missing any poll tools, that you're working with, please let me know, and I will check out how to use them with the InFrame Pod.

Next up will be tools that you can use for collaboration right within the Adobe Connect InFrame Pod.

    Best regards,

    Susanne

Design Interactive Lobby and Break Times
You can design lobby times and breaks with static content - but making them interactive for your participants is much more fun.
  • Brilliant, thanks for the update!
