This Inc.com article focuses on how to get the best out of delivering your presentation online, including use of video, interaction and knowing the platform. Perhaps one you can share internally or with your network:

https://www.inc.com/brian-de-haaff/80-percent-of-presentations-at-work-are-delivered-remotely-here-is-how-to-get-it-right.html

In the article Inc.com reference a quote from a Harvard Business Review article that "80% of presentations are now delivered remotely". I'm not a HBR subscriber, so I can't see that article and a quick Google doesn't show up any other reference or link to research, so I have to remain a bit sceptical about that stat for now. If you know better though, please share!

Would you add any other tips to this article about delivering a presentation online?

  • It would be great to hear if anyone else would say their business practices match the statistic quoted from the Harvard Business Review in this Inc.com article. Is anyone else finding that their presentations are becoming more and more online based? or has anyone found that there are still barriers that stop the remote delivery of presentations in their organisation.

Also if anybody has any good tips for how to deliver engaging remote presentations. We'd love to hear about it.
